Description
Flyplan Delta Air Lines Fairchild FH-227 N378NE
Delivered to Northwest Airlines from 1966, Delta Air Lines inherited seven FH-227s, a variant of the Dutch-developed Fokker 27, license-built by Fairchild in the US, when the two airlines merged in 1972. The aircraft proved their worth in the dense short-range network around New England through to the late 1970s.
