Description
Flygplan Hapag-Lloyd Express Fokker 100
Two months after its competitor Germanwings, Hapag-Lloyd Express commenced operations as the low-cost carrier of the TUI Group in 2002. Due to its catchy slogan Fly for the price of Taxi and the fitting, very distinctive color scheme it got off to a strong start. Next to 737s the airline operated Fokker 100s in the taxi-style livery. In 2007, HLX merged with Hapagfly to form todays TUIfly brand.
