The large user base of the light and maneuverable multi-role fighter also included Switzerland, which undertook final assembly of the planes intended for the countrys own air force at the plant in Emmen.
J-3033 was most recently part of 6 Squadron. It is one of three former militia units and is based at Payerne in the canton of Vaud.
