The Essen Fire Department is procuring a number of new Mercedes-Benz Sprinters with the current body from Fahrtec-System GmbH in Neubrandenburg for the rescue service. The city emblem, previously only ever small on the door, extends in an eye-catching form over the entire rear half of the body. This model is assigned to the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund with the door print. Other vehicles of identical design are in use by the following organizations: St. John"s Ambulance, Malteser Hilfsdienst, German Red Cross.
