The Amiri Flight is used exclusively for the transport of the royal Qatari family. Herpa has already produced two 747-8s in 1:500 in the past. Now, the third aircraft in the third livery is released to complete the small series. The jumbo jet accommodates only 89 passengers and 14 crew members. The aircrafts registration, A7-HBJ has an ulterior meaning: The former Prime Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, is unofficially often called "HBJ" by Qataris.
