Due to the renewed demand for flights worldwide, Lufthansa rapidly reactivated next to all 747-8s. Gradually, the jumbo jet fleet will also receive a new paintjob, among them D-ABYC, named after the German state of Saxony. Up to recently, D-ABYA was the only 747-8 in the current corporate design.
