Model: The cars have close coupler mechanisms. Interior lighting can be installed in the cars.Total length over the buffers 308 mm / 12-1/8".The lighting kit to go with these cars: 66616 LED Lighting Kit.

Prototype: 2 different Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) EW III express train cars in the Swiss Express paint scheme consisting of 1 each 1st class (A), and 1 each 2nd class (B). The cars look as they did around 1975.

Combining this car set with the class Re 4/4 II locomotive, item number 16883, and the 18720 car set gives you a prototypical train.
